Las Cruces The Lundeen Inn of the Arts--nice?

Is this a nice place to stay? Planning a trip to Las Cruces in October & a search for B&Bs turned up the Lundeen and TRH Smith Mansion, but it seems to have gone out of business!

I stayed there 15-20 years ago. It was a great place...friendly, and wonderful decor and artwork. Sorry to hear that it may have gone out of business.

I did a little checking online. I stayed at the Lundeen Inn of the Arts on south Alameda (http://www.innofthearts.com/) and it was probably "only" 12 years ago. The TRH Smith Mansion is off north Alameda. Could they be different places?

Yes -- they are two different places. They're the only two B&Bs I could find looking on-line, but the website for TRH Smith Mansion doesn't come up.

Lundeen is very nice. Lots of art...friendly people and good food. I have lived here over six years. October weather is excellent.

Those are two different places. I thought I read in the paper that TRH Smith Mansion may be put on the historic list. I hope so.
