Does anyone know a good place to rent bikes in fussen? I'll be there for 3 days so I need 2 bikes and maybe some routes to take.

If you know of any good websites that are in english with bike routes and or rental information that would be grreat for me.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

checked the net for bike rental and only found one in Füssen:
Jeti's Bike Shop
Abt-Hess-Straße 11
87629 Füssen, Deutschland
Tel. +49 (8362) 39712

Have no idea how the quality is!

Didn't find any bike tours on the web, but I recommend the maps from KOMPASS! You will get them in bookstores or maybe in the 'tourist-shops'. They can be used for both, biking and hiking!
It is this one: http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/3854910061/ref=pd_sim_dp_3/302-2649166-4609614

General info about Füssen:

Have fun, good luck with the bikes,
Christian.

Sorry to say that, but COMPASS maps are, in my experience, crap. In Bavaria, the best maps are the 1:50000 official maps from Bayerisches Landesvermessungsamt, which you also get in major bookshops. They also have recommended bike routes on them marked in green. OK, you have to pay a bit more, but I have already made several bad experiences with Compass (roads that weren't there, Autobahn that has been there for at least 20 years, etc.) Unless one has to turn over every Euro, the official maps are way better.

That is true, I didn't think of them. I used these in Karlsruhe where I studied. But here my colleagues and me use Kompassmaps and we all found back home... :) In the bookstores both maps should be available as the region here is hiking area.
Thanks for reminding me!
Christian.
