Hi all.. What is the cheapest transport to go to Padang town from airport ? Do they have airport couch or bus ? Thanks in advance.

there is no airport bus, there. u just could take airport taxi servise.

Fazahar & I just got back from Padang. They have just moved the bus station further away from the airport, so if you have a map in hand, it's probably different for the area by now. yes, you can only take taxis out of Tabing Airport. the starting price to Bukittinggi is 175,000 rupiahs. I'd say this is a good deal considering you would need the taxi anyway to get you to the nearest bus. plus by public transport, your luggage will count as 1 person - so 2 persons + 1 luggage = 3 persons! taxi is thus better value sha

I would say take a bus at the airport. Tell drive you wanna go to Bukittinggi. After about 10 min at the main road, driver will usually inform Bukittinggi drop off here. Get off, and there waiting is private taxi or called 'travel' to Bukittinggi. Bus around Rp15k & travel Rp30k.
