Hi, I want to go to Kume Island. Could you suggest transportation and accomodation?

You can fly out of Naha take a ferry from Tomari Port in Naha. It costs about $60 US roundtrip ($100 with vehicle) by ferry and about 4 hours. The flights are about 30 minutes, but I do not know cost because I live here and it is just more fun to take my car on the ferry and have my own transportation. This link not only gives the ferry schedule, but other forms of transportation on and around Okinawa as well and includes the cost of each. The ferry schedule is variable however due to weather. If it is too foggy or windy (typhoons) the ferry my be delayed or canceled all together. There are also phone numbers on this link to get information directly from the variuos ferry companies. Some speak English and some even speak Chines due to Okinawa's southern most island's proximity to Taiwan. I hope this helps.
