Marion,

Look at

http://www.kamerhulp.nl/zoeken/zoek_resultaten.php?plaats=Den+Bosch

General Den Bosch info at:
http://www.denbosch.nl/Engels/home.cfm
http://073.pagina.nl/

Yes, there are busses (BBA company) at Den Bosch; see:
http://www.bba.nl/1/6/8/20/

but you better buy a bicycle for the time being.

More info at VT's own Den Bosch page at:

Hi Marion

I spent a month in Den Bosch ... in 1976! And visited once again in 1987. Back then it was a lovely middle-class area with open spaces, fresh air and friendly people. I suspect it probably still is a quiet place to live, but big-city entertainment is not far off at Amsterdam (30 mins on the train). And I remember there was a local bus service.

Have a great stay. Oisha.
