Albuquerque Current info on Albuquerque Amtrak Station
Posted: Sun May 15, 2005 10:36 AM UTC
We're catching Amtrak to Albuquerque in a couple of months and will need to rent a car when we get there. MapQuest and Yahoo aren't helping us see what the closest rental agencies are, and the major chain agencies seem to be based inside local hotels. We don't want to walk forever or catch a cab. We heard the train station was renovated, does anyone know if there's a rental place inside?

Thanks,

AkiSan

I don't think there are car rental agencies at the Amtrak station but .... Enterprise advertises that they will deliver a car to your location if you make advance arrangements .... worth finding out about it :) I think their website is enterprise.com .. or something very similar - just google search it. Good luck, and have fun!

Enterprise will pick you up at any location and take you to their office where you can rent a car. The Hyatt is 2 blocks from the station and has an Enterprise

The train station is near the SE quadrant of the intersection of Central and Second avenues, if that helps to get your map bearing. the Hyatt and Doubletree hotels are less than a quarter mile away.
