My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Ambergris Cay in June. We love this site. It has been very helpful. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to stay? In other threads on this topic Ramon’s comes highly recommended. We are looking into The Sundiver Beach Resort and The Salamander. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ramons is very different to the other two inns you asked about. Its on the edge of town, large, well managed and staffed, nice beach, upscale. Sun Diver and Salamandre are only accessile by boat and Salamandre is as far up the island as you can go and town is far away and $ to get back and forth.
