Hi there,
I am visiting Santander with a group of 4 for a long weekend. We were wondering if there were any good bars or clubs people could recommend to us - after reading some comments about Santander it sounds a bit sleepy with not much nightlife....is this the case? If anyone has any ideas of places to go/avoid it would be great to hear..... Thanks Julie |

Man, you will have a blast when you arrive to Santander. As any other city in
Spain, nightlife is not a little thing here. Just go to downtown at night. People usually move from one spot to another in a strange, although regular pattern. In summer, areas in "Rio de la Pila" or "Calle Vargas", get so crowded that is impossible to drive on them with a car. Just follow the people and they will take you to the spots.
