Recently passed through the airport on the way back from India. Thinking of spending a few days in Bratislava. Is it worth the visit?

Hi David,
We spent three nights in Bratislava late last summer (as part of a longer trip). We found it a very likeable, friendly and easy-going place, and would certainly recommend it for a long weekend. The old town is very attractive, and full of excellent cafes and restaurants. Architecturally, there are some similarities with Prague, but in terms of scale and feel, it is much more like Tallinn. Happy travelling. Regards Andrew

Definitely it's worth visiting and, what's more it's not far away from Vienna, so why don't you have a one-day-trip?
