| Dover | Travel from London to Dover + stay Posted: Sun May 1, 2005 02:07 PM UTC
Hi,
Can anyone help me with this? We want to travel from London to Dover and stay a few days in Dover. What we would like to know is how do we get from London to Dover and how much does it cost, and where do we stay in Dover and how much does that cost? Thank you |

Hi,
To get to Dover from London you can take a train from Victoria (via Canterbury), or Charing Cross/Waterloo East (via Ashford). The journey time is around 1 hr 45 mins for the quickest trains. Note that on many of the services via Ashford the train divides at Ashford, and only one half goes on to Dover, so listen to the announcements to make sure that you are on the correct part of the train. The service is operated by South Eastern Trains, and there are full timetables on their website at: http://www.setrains.co.uk/ Have a nice trip. Regards Andrew
