were going to izmir june 30th what will the weather be like ,and whats it like in general ie shopping night life etc?

the weather should be very hot in izmir in june. if your there in the middle of august make time to go to the fun fair its held in a park not very far from the train station. its there only a short time.

There is a lot of shops (and cafes and restaurants) in Alsancak. At Konak Pier there is a shopping-centre and a pub (with great view over the sunset). Along the sea, north of Chumhurriet Meydani there are lots of bars and restaurants.

First of all I wish you happy and healthy life with your beloved ones. Izmir is the 3rd greatest metropole in Turkey.Please take a look on Izmir pages of VT. You will get many first hand informations.End of June is the summer time in Izmir. Don't walk on the streets without a cap or hat. On the quai of Izmir which is called Pasaport you may rest in cafes and restaurants in the evening.The surraundings of Izmir is also intersting.Near Selcuk you may visit the ruins of Efessus. Don't forget to visit the house of Virgin Mary in Efessus. Have a nice time.
