Hi,
Im thinking about booking Tiare Viallage for 10 days in June..has anyone stayed there? im aware its not on the beach which doesnt really bother us as the island is so small, the thing im worried about is is it far from nitelife, retaurants etc?? WE are two 23 years from Ireland Many thanks in advance Helena :-) |

Haven't stayed there. We stayed at Vara's Beach House, which I can recommend very highly. The island is beautiful. Hire a scooter, take a test, and the biggest decision of the day is whether to go clockwise or anti clockwise.
Do stop at Fruits of Raratonga for the snorkelling. Enjoy.

Haven't stayed there, but if you are wanting some sort of nightlife you should stay either in Avarua or at Muri Lagoon (preferably the last). And if renting a scooter is out of the question, don't worry, you can catch the bus till later at night.
But it's not exactly a party island, it's really pretty laid back...
