Hi there folks
I'm headed for queenstown on the 10th of june all alone. Looking to get fulltime work and a place to bed down for 3months (sharing with others would be cool so i can meet people fast) also want to be near the slopes since i just bought a board and intend to teach myself. Any suggestions would be fantastic. thanx. x x x

Hey dude, go on to new zealand flats, you can choose from finding a flat thats empty or one with flat mates and looking for flat mates like you...Click on the site below, and post in what you are, eg, guy, professional full time, and what you can bring to the flat, eg tv, bed etc, haha but if you have none of that then dont worry, you can pick up some pretty cheap stuff here anyway!!

Hey, how are you? I am in the same boat as you! I think it is really hard to find accommodation in Queenstown before you actually get there! I am heading there this year for the winter too!! I will be working on the ski fields, its great fun, i did it last year! If you are wanting a job on the mountains, i think you should apply now, as pretty much all the jobs are filled! I looked not long ago, and there was still jobs going in rentals, there are some really fun people who work in there, so maybe that could be an option?
As for finding a place to live, there are a lot of notice boards in town, and also the local newspaper, thats pretty much where everyone advertises their rooms.
So, when are you arriving? You will have heaps of fun! I am arriving around the 9th of June!
