Hi!

Can anyone tell me whether there is a direct train service between Leiden Centraal and Rotterdam airport (and how long it takes)? Also, what time do the trains start running? (I am about to book a flight ticket, but the flight leaves Rotterdam airport at 7:20 am on a Monday morning, which means I would have to be at the airport by 6:20. Any website with train info/times would also help! Just wondering whether that's possible or whether I should rather try to find another flight... Also, would alternative transport (e.g. a taxi) be VERY expensive?

No train station at Rotterdam airport, but you can take a local bus (line 33) from Rotterdam Central, also early in the morning. It takes about 20 minutes. I made this trip last year and I remember the bus stop was a little bit hard to find, of the main exit from the station (centre side), cross the square and turn the first street right, you'll find it at your right hand side.

Train departs 0416, arrives 0458, next train departs 0516 change in Den Haag, arrives 0602

I took a taxi from Rotterdam Centraal station to Rotterdam Airport last Saturday and it cost a little over 16 euro. It took about 15 minutes.
