I'll be re-visiting brisbane in may (this time as a tourist) and am really excited! but my memory is getting a little rusty so i can't think of anywhere else to go except gc, sc, mt cootha, southbank.. i remember going to a few cheap apparel warehouses few years back but i can't recall where they are! am looking for cheap beach wear and casual clothing..would appreciate any info on those.

am also looking to rent a cheap and proper car for a few days..pls advise..

Hi Harbourtown down on the Gold Coast has all of the factory outlet stores and that may be where you were thinking. There are also some factory outlets around the Stones Corner area.

You could try a day up in the Sunshine Coast hinterland at Maleny or Montville which is a nice day.

Can't help with the car although if you look in the Courier Mail newspaper you might find some cheap rentals.

Have fun

Hi,

To rent a car I offer You this website: http://www.utecarrentals.com.au/

When I was in Brisbane last year I rent a car here. It was quite cheap and there weren't any problem with it.
