Hi travelling to these cities in Germany from 1st to 17th April (Kassel,Hann-Munden,Goslar,hildesheim,Hameln,Bamberg,Dinkelsbuhl,Rothenburg o.d.t,wurzburg,Frankfurt)
1)Where and when are the fleamarkets,open air markets/bazzar,street vendors.
l read about this interesting open-air market every Sun in Hildesheim.Any other recommmendations?
2)Any festivals and carnivals,celebrations during this period?
3)Any specific parks/gardens to admire the spring blossom eg.the Wilhelmshohe park in kassel.
4)How to spend the night since most shops in these towns are closed after 6pm.
eg. take the nightwatch-man tour in Rothenburg(no pubbing/clubs please).

My suggestion concerning fleamarkets is to buy the monthly journal: "Troedler & Sammler". You will find the dates of all major fleamarkets in all over Germany there.

Look for signs that say Troedel Markt. They usually advertise during the week for flea markets. When we lived in Kelkheim we loved going to the flea markets on the weekend. You could find some good deals. The Main Taunus Zentrum in Sulzbach is a fun place to look at stores and they are open past six. This is located close to Frankfurt. Great pizza place to hang out at. country of music festivals. Most markets are open on Saturday and some have them also once during the week, in our town it was Wednesday.I am not sure what will be blooming. You might be a little early for that. Good luck and have a great time!
