mm if you want to install internet at your relatives house you need to install an internetprogram first like Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator for example.
Then you have to find a local provider. Some providers offer 'free' access. Which means that you can access the net for free, but do need to pay phonecosts. But most providers do charge access costs too. These costs are usually on monthly base. If you just want to install internet at your relatives house for the time you are there because you want to keep in touch by e-mail or something it's a better idea to find a local internetcafé. Usually most countries / big cities have a café / shop/store where you can use the internet for some costs per hour. I hope this information was useful. Good luck :o)

Sorry about the weird wording - it was the early hours of the morning here in Canada. Thanks for the tips - I know now where to look. I'll have my laptop with a built in 56K modem, with the RJS 42(?) phone line connection(the standard North American connection). There will be two challenges, linking the laptop to the telco system, and acquiring the Internet service on a temporary basis. I'll have a bit of time to figure this out.
Really appreciate all the help from you good folks.

A thousand thanks Gerald. I will take quick run at this. I don't have much time (a couple days) before going wheels up, and have a host of things to do, let alone pack. I'll take a look at the URL and see what my options are, as well as try and convince my brother to shell out for net service!
Many thanks once again.

Hi everyone - does anyone have any information about the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Park? I would be especially interested to hear about places to stay in and aroudn the Park, including B&Bs/guest houses. I have to admit I'm in the early stages of my own research so any advice/tips would be gratefully received.
Thanks!
