We'll be in San Sebastian May 17-21, 2005. I am taking my digital camera and will need to unload pictures as, I'm sure, the memory card will be full.
Is there service in town to do that, i.e unload to the CD or other (eg USB drive) storage? Aso it will be nice to meet some local VT members, for a chat, a walk in town, a meal together or quick Basque language lesson. Thanks in advance. |

I couldn't say for San Sebastian exactly, but in Spain last year (Barcelona and Valencia), when I needed to, I had no problem finding shops who'd transfer my pics to CD- very cheaply- 2Euros including disc. It seemed that most photographic developing shops provided this service. San Seb is a very popular tourist destination, so it's pretty certain it'll be offered here too.
A lovely city, but I still prefer Bilbao... ;) Jem

:-O you´ll find many photo shops with this service, and you don´t need any USB drive in case you have a extern memory card. But I think the price is higher that 2 euro, Mrjemm. I think it costs about 4-5 euro. Wellcome to Donostia, and be sure we´ll some pintxos and drink a lot of cyder or txakoli. May is a nice month in Donostia, and of course, in Bilbao. Wellcome.

Somehow in a pre-vacation rush I've missed your invitation. Sorry. We just came back from Spain couple of days ago. Spent four days in Donostia between other things.
