The old city is fairly compact, so everything is close and around the Mezquita. A visit to old palace of Medina Azahara (close the city, there are excursions) is essencial. Where to stay. Well, Hotel Alfaros and Hotel NH Amistad. Both in the old city, the Alfaros is typical arabic style and the Amistad, is built into the city walls, so plenty of history. Don´t miss the tapas and the bloom patios.

I just made a booking for a hostel in Cordoba through this website recommended by other VTers:
http://www.2abookings.com I sent out 3 reservation requests and it turns out only one of them has room for me. It would be smart to book the hotel quickly. Enjoy the trip!
