Greetings from Ireland.
We will be staying in Haarlem from the 13th May till the 16th and on the Sunday we would like to hire bikes and visit the countryside,weather permitting. First where to hire and second where to go. We are staying at the Hempcity B&B.

I am also going to Holland. I think there are plenty of bicycle rental everywhere in Holland but i suggest u take the Tulip Bulb route from Nordwijik to Lisse to Keukenhof. The VVV (information center) will provide u with the neccesary information and they also organised tour to Keukenhof (17.50Eur including the entrance). Check www.holland.com . Keukenhof is the biggest and most beautiful garden in the world and open from April till May. Have fun.

Afstand means distance; I recommend you start with a simple ride.

I used to bike to the Bloemendaal beach; it's a good way to start.
