Does anybody know when is the best time to visit Madeira? I mean- how is the end of December, beginning of January?

Winter months are the "High season" for Madeira.
Whe you say best time do you mean for weather,flowers,carnival, or ???
But Christmas New Year is a big celebration in Madeira and Hotels/accommodation are very expensive, cheaper periods are either before Christmas or January after new year.Flowers you will sea anytime of the year,, temperature during the winter january to march is around 65 F .

hi we went to maderia last june the weather was very hitty missy we were told by our local taxi driver that the best weather is july august which is unusual as most holiday spots are to hot then.we had a nice time but as we live in the uk weather is very important. if you want any tips on where to go or what to see let me know

you can have good weather the whole year! but in wintertime, means
Nov.,Dec.,Jan. and Feb. it's change-
able. in summer it's to hot. but every
place on MADEIRA has his own weather. the northcoast is rough.
for me the best weather is at the
southwest coast! on the highest
mountain you can have snow in
