Metro/tramway/bus to New Milan Point

We're travelling to Milan next month for second time. And we want to go to New Milan Point (Piazza XXIV Maggio). Last time it was Sunday and the store closed, and it's a bit far to walk from nearest metro station (Porta Genova).

Does anyone knows which tramway/bus to go to or pass by New Milan Point? Is the ticket the same as metro? We probably will take one/two full day pass.

come on, it's just a 10 minutes walk! :) Anyway, you can get a tram from Porta Genova, 2 stops and you're there. Not sure about the tram number though.

If you get on the No. 3 tram from the Duomo area (Via Torino, outside the UPIM) it will take you straight to Piazza XXIV Maggio.

If we buy 1-2 days metro pass, does it include also ticket for tram? If not, how much per person for one trip?

The 24 hr or 48 hr tickets are very useful, allowing you to take the tram, busses and metro - you can just hop on and off without worrying too much. Validate it once (the first time you get on) and then you're set. I think they cost €3 for a 24hr ticket and €5.50 for a 48hr ticket. Remember that they go by the hour, not the day. For example, if you validate a 24hr ticket for the first time at 2.00 pm on Friday, it will last you till 2.00 pm on Saturday (or 2.00 pm on Sunday for a 48 hr ticket).
