Hello,
I have been reading about the market that is held on Saturdays and though that would be a great place to pick up fresh food for the condo we are planning on renting. However we will be there in December. Will there still be plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers that time of year? |

The moderate climate in Hawai`i is year-round and allows for a generous growing season. Although some fresh, locally grown fruits are seasonal, much of the veggies and fresh flowers are always available. However, keep in mind that much of the produce consumed on the islands is imported and it is still possible that a vendor in a "Farmer's Market" will sell these imported goods. Some may even tell you they are locally grown.
