Shannon Travel Forum

Hi all,
in my enthusiasm about finding a cheap flight to Ireland I didn't really notice that my return flight is at 7 in the morning from Shannon. Does anybody know if there is a chance to get to the airport that early?

If not, how is it to sleep at that airport, any experiences?

It's such a great thing to book flights...

A 7 am flight isn't all that early from most airports. It just means arrival at the check in by about 5 am or so.

hi,dont know where your staying,but if ur close enough to shannon you could book a taxi the day before and they will pick up at ur accomadation and bring you to the airport,however it depends on where you are staying as a long taxi drive and be expensive

stay in Limerick City the night before, it will be a lot easier to book a taxi the nite before, try and get a B&B/hotel in the Caherdavin/Ennis Road area, as they are en route to Shannon.
