3.40 hours / 2 ferry 6500 Yen Kagoshima: Kushikino port Nagasaki: Nagasaki port Information: J Ocean 095-822-0050 Getting to Kushikino port from Kagoshima City: Take JR Kagoshima Honsen line (Japan Rail) from Nishi Kagoshima Station to Kushikino station.

I couldn't find a schedule anywhere. You could try doing a websearch but you might have more luck calling that phone number when you are in Japan.

According to
http://www.j-ocean.com/info/timetable the time table is: Nagasaki 10:00 --> Kushikino 13:40 Kushikino 14:00 --> Nagasaki 17:30 Cost is Y6,500 one way. However if I'm reading this page right this ship is in dry-dock from 1/15 to 4/1. http://www.j-ocean.com/dock/index.html If you need to know for sure, let me know and I will find out.

thank you. unfortunately i could not find the english version. if the boat is being serviced then i should plan to take the train.
