Has anyone gone to Pucallpa?
A friend and I were originally planning a boat trip from Pucallpa down to Iquitos -- but were wondering if being stuck on a boat on the Amazon for 5 days was worth it - or, if it would be better to do some 1-2 excursions while in either Pucallpa or Iquitos (we can fly to either from Lima). anyone ever done the boat ride between the two? thank you all! |

I did many journeys like that u intend to do... in my experience if u have the time its ok... cause itīs pretty much the same along the coast of the river... u might have some interesting views if u r lucky..but if u donīt have plenty of time it doesnīt really worth... better to jump in an airplane.. it all depend of what u like....
Yarina itīs a great lagoon to visit in Pucallpa, and also try Copuazu (Iīm not sure of the spelling)itīs a unique fruit .. shakes of this fruit are incredible!!! Ursula
