Viña del Mar Travel Forum

Hello fellow travelers,

I will be spending a few days in Chile next September. The main destination of my trip is Argentina, buit I thought that spending some time in Chile might be nice as well. I plan to visit Santiago and Vinya del Mar. Aside of beaches, spas, etc, is there anything interesting to see or to do in VdM or surropunding areas?

I suggest to take a visit to Valparaiso (twin city with Viña), it's just next to Viña del Mar, and it has interesting places to visit , especially the Hills, and the elevators to them, also a trip by the harbour coud be interesting and one of the hoses of Pablo Neruda

como ya dicen, Valparaiso ofrece quizas un poco mas sitios interesantes, como una de las casas de P.Neruda. tambien vale la pena ir a Isla Negra para ver la casa mas famosa de PN. Interesante es el Museo antropologico e historia "Francisco Fonck" en VdM.
