probably sit only but you can change from euros in every bank

I`m just wondering what you`ll be doing in Skofja Loka? You`ll be fed up with the place in a few hours - it`s a small town

Prices in Slovenia (I think they should apply in Skofja Loka as well):

- beer: from 1.5 euro to 2 euro for a large one (0.5 liter)

- food: 4 euro for a simple meal, 10 euro for a decent meal, etc.

- tobacco: from 1.5 to 2 euro for a pack of 20 cigarettes (depending on the brand).

Only domestic currency is generally accepted in shops, bars, restaurants, etc. You can exchange euros into tolars in banks, post offices, exhange offices, etc.

HI and Shalom:
I see that you have already gotten the prices you asked for, and yes from what friends tell me they are very close to what you would find in Warsaw.
But if you are there for two weeks, that means you have a weekend, try and visit Bled, Bohinj, Dovje, Mostrajana, Bovec, Mt.Triglav, Skojan, Ljulbjana and Postijona. They are only at the most an hour drive from Skofja Loka. Take a look at our pages on Slovenia you might get a few ideas.
Have fun while at work,
Martin

The main wine region is in the east, toward Maribor, Jeruzalem and Ptuj, some fine wines to be found there.

Its a small town, but not boring at all and it offers a great variety of hiking trecks. If you have the possibility, obtain a bycicle, you will love it. Also, there is allways something going on in the evenings. Skofja Loka might just be our most active small town. Enjoy your staying!

Unfortunatelly this was only business trip but now I have a lot of friends there and it is possible to stay there on summer time for nice vacations.
