Hi there,
Travelling to Cavtat beginning of May. Am wanting to know the following and any other useful information if possible: What's the weather like in May? Is Cavtat close to beaches / airport? Anything in particular this area is known/good for? Does anyone know Villa Markoc and can shed some info on it? Thanks for you help! |

It is not close to the beach but I think it is close to the airport "Cilipi", you might have to walk for few killometers to the beach but other than that it is fine.

Villa Markoc is on the hill behind Cavtat where most of the apratments are situated and have magnificent views. One of the top floor rooms has the best view ever. There is a balcony from the side kitchen and from the studio. It is decorated in....a Bavarian brothel" style. very cluttered but comfortable. BEWARE the planes from Dubrovnik fly directly overhead as the landing lights are just behind this property on the hill. If you want quiet, this is not for you. The rooms vary greatly, don't have the one that's been converted from the garage.
Cavtat is very pretty and it is easy to get to Dubrovnik and the islands.
