Getting to Cuzco from Quito

Hi,

I'll by flying to Quito at the end of April and would like to spend 3-4 days in Cuzco/Machu Piccho. I am trying to find out what the airfire from Quito to Cuzco is. In the event that air tickets are too expensive, is there any other way to get to Cuzco (train/buses)? how long would it take and how much would it cost?.

There are certainly direct flights between Quito and Cuzco - I saw at least one flight going to Quito the morning we went back to Lima. Cost and availability depends on your dates - try some of these airlines: Taca, Lan Peru/Lan Chile, Tans.

I'm sorry, I'm sorry, my mistake. It was a direct flight to La Paz, not to Quito that we saw.

i am peruvian. Definitely there is no direct flight from quito to Cuzco, because Cusco's airport is not international. Even so , you can take an international bus called Ormeño www.grupo-ormeno.com , but i am not sure is you can take it in Quito or you must go to Guayaquil.
