Jurmala Travel Forum

Hello we are a few friends from spain that wanna go this summer to the baltics and in latvia we are thinking about go to Jurmala and Riga. We have many info about Riga but none about Jurmala. Can you tell us if we can find a campsite there ? how is the nightlife? and any suggest will be welcomed.

Hola de Riga y Jurmala.
The summertime is very nice to visit Jurmala. There will be many musical festivals during all summer. The biggest part of concerts are in Dzinteri concerthall. The centre of night life of Jurmala is the main street - Jomas iela. There are many cafes, bars, restaurants. Just come and choose what you prefer.

I live in Jurmala. I can tell you that yes, the best place for food and drinks is Jomas Street in Majori, but if you want to go to a club to dance then you should go back to Riga. But if you decide to stay for a nightlife in Jurmala there are two clubs that you can try it's Coco Loco in Majori and Trio in Lielupe. ;-))

Thank you! i was in Riga this summer, was amazing , the most beautiful city in the baltics!! altough not very funny at nights except weekends, during the week there is not a lot of things to do at night because the majority of clubs that are opened are sex clubs.
