Is Vietri sul Mare a place I should include in my itinerary to the Amalfi Coast?

Vietri sul Mare is the last resort on the Amalfitan Coast, being situated on the most easterly point. It is a very pretty seaside village with pastel-coloured houses often decorated with wonderful majolica insets. Ceramics and their decoration are so famous here that the characteristic colour is known as Vietri green. You could have a visit here but there are plenty of other places to visit such as Positano, Amalfi, Atrani, Ravello and don't miss temples at Pasteum - How many days ddo you have??

IMHO, Vietre is a fabulous place to buy dishes, ceramics, etc., and not a lot more. The major towns are mentioned by the member above (don't miss ravello). There are a few smaller seaside villages which way have as much to offer with less travelling, like Priano, Maiori, Minori. The ceramics - we bought at the Solimene factory - if you are interested in this purchase, are much cheaper than in the other villages and much much much cheaper than in the States. Then Vietre becomes a very important inclusion in your trip.
