I am leaving for guilin on monday and would like to take the boat from guilin to yangshou. I have no idea where i am staying in guilin yet but where can i catch the boat from guilin? Could anyone tell me the chines characters maybe soi i can show the taxi driver to take me there...or someother way to show or tell them? Thanks for any replies....

boat ride available daily, start from Jujiang dock, 40 minutes drive by taxi, need to reserve a ticket in advance.

Or, your hotel concierge could arrange for you. In 1998, there was two different rates for cruise boats, foreinger boats are 3 times more expansive as the Chinese only boats. Not sure about now. Since bus is rather convenient between the two, there may not be any boats for 'transportation purpose' only. I could be wrong, though.

Hi, i would like to know if there is a fixed schedule (ie 1 trip only/day) from Guilin to Yangshou? or are there several boat/cruises trips within a day? I will be arriving Guilin on the 26th Aug, 1030am, and was wondering if its possible for me and my bf to catch the boat to Yangshou. I'm from singapore, so i can speak & read mandarin, so language shouldnt be a problem. Please advice, thanks!

Hey yes there is a boat from Guilin to Yanghou, the one from Guilin leaves very early, around 7am or 8am, i am not 100% sure. You will have to check. When i was there 1 year ago there was only one boat per day, that may have changed now. Enjoy that part of china, its my favorite
