Hi everybody!
I'm thinking about doing a study in the Netherlands, and I heard from friends that Groningen is a nice studentcity! Does anybody know this place? How is it to study there?

Even some Dutch Royal familie members studied at Groningen.

There is a bar called "Soestdijk" (named after one of the Royal Palaces).

living near the city i know it s a great place to live and study!
not only dutch royal members love groningen, prins albert of monaco had a cafe named after him and visited there once. but the other day i saw that pub is for rent .. elas!

groningers are quiet living folks, minding their own business, but if asked for, very helpful and friendly.
during summertime most students leave the town but as long as there is sun, the pubs and terrasses are filled with young people. very gezellig! and fun.

also shopping can be fun, if you like it.

well, if you got any other specific questions, just ask.
