I want to thank u for all the info ive just read i am going to be visiting rome this year and also have only one day to see pompei and wanted to know how i would get there ive found the info u posted very usefull is there anything else i should know about ? thanx once again Ren'e

From Rome take a directi train to Naples. It takes about 2 hours. From Naples there are trains or buses to Pompei.

we might just stay over in pompei could u recommend a good hostel (cheap ) lol thanx for the prompt reply
