Assisi How can I go to Assisi from Rome

Hi there
This is my first time I go to Italy, after reading the Assisi, I really want to go there, but a bit worry about how the transportation. What is the best way to go there from Rome, by bus or train and how. I can stay Assisi a night..

We took the train around Italy last summer and thought it was great. There is a train from Rome to Assisi. Check out this link for schedules and fares. You might want to purchase your tickets in advance because the trains may be totally booked by the day of travel.

train - it is easy and take bus to city which is atop a steep hill
