Hi, try the hotels/pension//hostels in the Ulus region. Its not far from city center. 10-15 min by walk and only 2 mins by underground. You may take the underground from main coach station (ASTI) to Ulus.

Check it out from expedia, almost all of the hotels listed over there are good ones. I suggest Neva Palace or Best Western Ikibin or Ankara Best Hotel, since they are very close to nicest neighbourhood in Ankara. By the way, try not to go to Ulus area

You ought to read more closely. The poster asked for CHEAP. Perhaps $65 or $80US is cheap to you but a backpacker often wants more like $10-20.
Wish I could help, I'm looking for the same myself.
