Bariloche has two High Seasons during the year. There's one during the Summer (Jan-Feb) but the other is exactly during Mid-June to July and August. Of course, there are snow lovers, but some of us have Winter Vacations; and most of all, the youngsters from the Secondary School go there on a Graduation Tour, which makes the city of Bariloche a mess. The problem is that many hotels are reserved for those groups. So my advice is that you book in advance in that city.
I dont know which is the situation in Puerto Madryn or in Ushuaia.

The best way is by plane. Distances are great between any of those points. For example: you have 24 hours between BA and Bariloche by bus. If you can afford the costs, save your energies.
I would save 3 days for Calafate and other 3 days for Puerto Madryn. Other 3 or 6 days for Ushuaia and the rest for Bariloche.
Check this www.losglaciares.com for Calafate (they have an english version).
I'll try to get you others for the rest of places.

Other web sites: www.interpatagonia.com.ar (excellent site, has an english version). General, about the whole region.
www.bariloche.com.ar (only in Spanish).

I agree with somebody who advise you to make a reservation in Bariloche, in this period the city is known as Brasiloche, because there are lots of brasilians there. For the other cities July can be pretty cold in Ushuaia and Calafate ( it's winter time in southern hemisphere ) ; I was in Calafate in summer and it snowed in the city at 1 p.m. I was in Puerto Madryn in summer and stayed 3 or 4 days there. In winter time I don't if is a good time to see animals. I took a night bus from Buenos Aires to Puerto Madryn.

First of all I want to say that you have chosen fantastic places to visit.

1- Because you will be coming in winter vacation time (for locals) it is important to have the reservations made in advance, specially in Bariloche were in july is sky season.
2- The best transportation method is always the plane. there are buses but youŽll spend too much time traveling. The flight agenda could be:BA-BARILOCHE-EL CALAFATE-USUHAIA-PUERTO MADRYN-BA.(or you can start for Puerto Madryn as well)
3-three nights is enought to stay in most of the places, altough you may want to spend extra time in Bariloche because there are more excursions to do.

Let me remind you that your 14 year old kid will pay plane ticket as an adult.

Hi mate, My name is Franco firs of all thanks a lot we need tourist in Argentina. But on the other hand in july I don`t think, its gonna be a good idea to visit Ushuaia with -23 degrees or Calafate with strong winds or puerto Madryn windy and dusty,Bariloche is a good choice, it is not so cold you can practice winter sport or just visit the city, the rivers and the villas no far away from Bariloche (San Martin de los Andes, Villa Langostura)
Buenos Aires also it is a great city very cosmopolitan and European also, do not forget that more than a half of the population of Argentina are Italians spanish and Frenchs.
In the north you can visit the Iguazu Falls the biggest of America o Mendoza Province with the Tallest mountain in America the Aconcagua. Argentina is big with plenty of places to visit

Looking forward to hearing from you
Do not hesitate if you need extra information
