Hi i am planning a trip to Guilin on the 21st of march -23rdish. 2 or 3 nights. Should we only stay in Guilin or is it worth going to near by cities? Where should we stay to be close to everything? What should we see while were there? Thanks to who ever has any ideas and responses.

If you have only 2-3 nights, go to Yangshuo area, much more interesting than Gui Lin city. Based in Yangshuo or some villages around there, rent a bike, bike around in the countryside. If you have to stay in Gui Lin, at least take the Li River cruise to see the sceneries along the river.
