| Meteora | Best place to stay near Meteora and Peloponesse in Greece Posted: Thu March 10, 2005 12:36 AM UTC
I have my honeymoon all planned out. We still are looking for two nights in the Peloponesse and two nights in Meteora.
Does anyone have a recommendations in terms of towns or actual hotels? We prefer moderate price, and cozy. Our current thought is Nafplio and Kalampaka for places to stay. Here is our honeymoon intinerary so far( http://www.viovio.com/trips/index.php?structure_id=18 ). Take a peak and let us know of any other recommendations. Thanks! |

Kalambaka and Nafplio are the obvious solutions for resp. Meteora and Nafplio.
For info on Nafplio hotels, please see my previous post at: http://forum.virtualtourist.com/discussion-99649-1 Wish you a nice trip.

Meteora is quite a distance from the Pelopponnese so I'd stick to the North of the Pelopponnese - Nafplion is cool and so is Epidavros (get a play in?).

I stayed in the Koka Roka in Kalambaka. Best lamb, fries, and Greek salad I've ever had. The place isn't fancy, but I would stay again.
