| Sandakan | Transpo from Ferry terminal To Sandakan Airport Posted: Wed March 9, 2005 05:49 PM UTC Can anybody help me by recommending the cheapest and best way to go to the airport from the Ferry terminal to the Airport. How much would the approx. costs costs be if by bus or taxi? I am travelling with my wife and seven yr old son. |

I just wondering, what Ferry terminal are you referring to? Well, from town central to Airport, which is only 7 miles/12km? and should cost you less than RM10 by taxis. you can take the bus but they take alt longer and stop from station to station... so if i'm you, i'll take the taxi. I guess it should cost around RM7... u can always ask the taxi driver before you jump on the taxi.

I dont exactly know where to go or what part f Sandakan ferry terminal I will embark. Im familiar with KL but not Sabah side. Many thanks for your tip, it was very helpful.

Dont worry! I know exactly what you meant. As referred by Borneoboy, Ferry terminal is just walking distance to Sandakan Bus terminal. you wouldnt get lost easily! Ferry terminal is open space, you may just stop any taxi nearby and head to Sandakan airport for just few minutes( i mean 20mins)and few dollars!
