I know I need to pick up either the day or night train from Madrid to Algeciras. Does anyone have any suggestions on booking? Do I need to do this in advance or can I show up in Madrid and hop on whatever train I am on time for? I would like a sleeper since it is a long trip.

Hi, I´m not sure if there will be a sleeper on that route. For booking, timetables and prices, check the Renfe website.

see the official renfe site for booking www.renfe.es, or book in advance in atocha station. other possibility is to book trough a travel agency, but it cost 2 or 3 euros as charges fee.
