Try ANATEWKA. It is a Jewish restaurant in the city center , 6 SIerpnia Street. You can eat there unique Jewish meals + very often girls are playing violin sitting 'on the roof' - like a fiedler...
Other place which is also interesting is PUB 97, Piotrkowska 97 Street. Good food, incredible design inside (go to the toilet!!). Generally speaking, Lodz is full of nice places and I am sure you will find something. Good luck!
