Hello,
I am highly interested in far eastern fauna and especially flora. While looking for infos on rare plants and animals, I started reading about the nature-reserves near Vladivostok (especially "Kedrovaja padj") where still some of the "Siberian Tigers" and even "Snowleopards" should live. The more I read, the more I want to visit this Nature-reserve but unfortunately it seems as if I am not able to establish any contacts to poeple living there and knowing about these reserves surrounding Vladivostok (which is necessary in order to organize such a journey). That's the reason why I am posting here, hoping that I have found the right place! Erwin |

I just joined and I hope you already found the contacts you needed.
I share the same interest. I believe you speak russian or it is going to be difficult and....very expensive. Did you visit the Xihote-alin preserve? So far I know that Idaho university has people doing research there. Tell me more, I am also looking to reach that area! cheers boiga
