Daytona Beach Is Daytona Beach allowing thongs on the beach for year 2005???

The following statement was on this forum September 6, 2003.

Is it still true?????

What is the "anti-nudity ordinance"???

Skimpy beachwear, such as a thong, is OK on the beach itself, but cover up if you stroll into restaurants and gift shops -- Daytona sometimes enforces its anti-nudity ordinance.

Well what kind of unsocialized freak thinks it's OK to go into a restaurant wearing a thong? LOL

hmm...speaking of thongs in restaurants, there are a couple of these "cafe risque" places up and down the main highways of florida. it's a bizarre combination of a denny's and a strip club. i'm quite sure that they don't allow their clients to stroll in naked or in a thong, but the waitresses that work there are definitely allowed to stroll their stuff in the buff. anyway, it's definietly worth going for the cultural experience...and the food ain't bad either!
