When you travel from Dordrecht to Brussels/Paris, you'll be travelling through Rotterdam Central (that's the nearest station from where international trains leave). Just realise that for some international trains (Thalys) you have to book in advance. But the intercity is just as nice, takes a bit longer.
Dordrecht-Amsterdam is a direct train with a regular schedule (several trains per hour).

Hang on. I just noticed. You posted this question in the Nieuw-Dordrecht forum. Nieuw-Dordrecht is a tiny place in the province Drenthe (up north). Your nearest main train station would be Emmen.
So if you want a correct answer to your question: do you mean Nieuw-Dordrecht near Emmen or Dordrecht near Rotterdam? It would make a huge difference as to travel time and schedules!

Hi
Thanks for responding and noticing the Error , actually I meant Dorderecht near Rotterdam and not the one in the north , please excuse my Geography ! I've been trying to access the sites fro where I can bokk the Train Tickets online in advance ( www.ns.sl) , however could not find any Online booking features. If you know fo any please pass that on to me , that will be a great help. I checked your site , very interesting , would surely come back again to read more ... Thanks again Saif

You don't need any online booking if you go to Brussels. You can take the normally scheduled intercity (several times a day). It's not much slower than Thalys.
However, if you take Thalys to Paris directly, you need to book beforehand. Go to www.thalys.com, choose Netherlands and English. Cheers!
