Montevideo to Porto Alegre by bus

Hi there! Can anyone tell me how long is the bus ride from montevideo to Porto Alegre. Are buses frequent?

Hi

I did it last year. No problem a few time per day.

It is a little cheaper if you take a bus to chui/chuy on the boarder then walk for blocks to the other terminal in Brazil and book your other bus.

Not a big difference.

There are also alot of beautiful places to stop in between in Uruguay.

Hi!

The trip takes about 11 hours; there are buses every day, at 8 PM and at 9 PM; the bus companies are EGA and TTL, and you have to take the bus at Tres Cruces Bus Station.
