If you've got cash to burn, then the Oro Verde. Otherwise, there is the Vistalmar (www.vistalmarecuador.com, 05-262-1671), which is about 80 bucks a night for a beautiful 2 bedroom cabana with kitchen/living room. The pool is awesome, and it is right on the beach at the top of a low cliff.
