Hello!

I am spending a week at a conference by the end of July
in University of Utrecht, in Uithof neighborhood.
I know the University is 15 min.
away from the city center. I'd like to have some suggestion
for hotel / Bed&breakfast for

1) Staying near the University of Utrecht; or if this is not possible
2) Staying in Utrecht city center.

In both cases, for "reasonable" I would like to find
some option around 80-100 euros per night, double room.

Just take the local Bus #12 to the University/Hospital. It's a much used connection with busses at 10 minutes intervals.

Hi, I sign my emails with 'AT' too, so it was quite funny to read that you did. I thought I had written it myself but of course I didn't.

Anyway, another option is Van der Valk 'Biltsche Hoek' in De Bilt which is very near the Uithof (the Uithof is on the outskirts of Utrecht, and De Bilt is a little town just outside Utrecht on the same side, a 5 minute drive).

But I must say, it is nice to have a hotel in Utrecht center, because it is a lively old town with lots of nice restaurants on the Oude Gracht.
