Palau a new life in palau
Posted: Mon February 21, 2005 11:27 PM UTC
Hello,
I am a 26-year-old British writer, with a strong interest in environmental work and organic cultivation of fruit and vegetables. I am hoping to find somewhere with a WWOOF (Willing workers on organic farms) scheme or some similar type of work exchange, housesitting arrangement or something similar in an interesting place or community on Palau. I have been living in Iceland for the last 3 and a half years and I have had enough of the cold - I have been very interested in coming to Palau for some time and am hoping to find somewhere interesting there to be now. I'm hoping ideally for somewhere organic, with lots of fruit and veg, people on spiritual paths, interesting ideas, contact with nature, lots of opportunities for learning and growth, an internet connection to sustain my writing, permaculture principles and lots of happiness in the sun.
I look forawrd to hearing from you if you know of anywhere that may be suitable,
Thanks,
Angela.

Please contact Captain Benito Thomas who is the Director of Immigration in Palau as he would be the official who would deal with such an application or alternatively contact Chief Masayos at the Division of Labor and Human Resources. Their e-mails can be found by using Google. They are both very helpful gentlemen and courteous too. I know I lived and worked there as a missionary engineer for five years. Padre Bill
